Introducing Team Foundation Server 2010 Basic

I just prepared a short screencast where I introduce the new Basic configuration of Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010. This video is based on TFS 2010 Beta 2 and shows how to create your first team project and add your Visual Studio solution to source control while associating it with a new user story.

Hopey you find it useful. Enjoy!

I have tried several times to create a team project, however, I keep getting the following error:

TF218027: The following reporting folder could not be created on the server that is running SQL Server Reporting Services: /TfsReports/DefaultCollection. The report server is located at: http://<server./Reports. The error is: The remote name could not be resolved: ‘’. Verify that the path is correct and that you have sufficient permissions to create a folder on that server, and then try again..”

    What does this mean?

TFSNewuser, Reporting Services is not supported when using the Basic configuration of TFS 2010. You will need to move to a full TFS installation.
